Impact of Media in Pakistan during the days of Corona Outbreak

Corona viruses are a type of virus. There are many different kinds, and some cause disease. A newly identified corona virus, SARS-CoV-2, has caused a worldwide pandemic of respiratory illness, called COVID-19. COVID-19 is the disease caused by the new corona virus that emerged in China in December 2019.

Covid-19 is a virus but how our media make it "The Virus" is the real question. Media enter the deadly symptoms that results in the death of a person into the minds of Pakistanis even before corona actually come to Pakistan. Not only media but our social media create havoc among people in the name of this fetal outbreak of Covid-19.

we all are aware of the situation months ago. we hardly put our noses outside our homes just because we are scared of getting corona. and all this because of the glamorizing, over-emphasizing and exaggeration of media. every day we came across news that shows the number of people died in result of covid-19. that make people even more vulnerable. all these type of news changed the mindset of people that its impossible to recover from corona. that results in increase number of deaths. people loose hopes after getting corona that make them even more vulnerable to covid. corona is all about our immunity, how much strong immune system we have.

But the havoc created by media reduces the immunity of even young people and they died of panic. media works on sensation and ratings. Today's media has less concern about the mental health of the people they are much concern about how they can get more ratings.

Its hard to find mental relaxation in that situation. Every day we open our social media or turn on our TVs, the only news was about the death and the number of increased patients infected with Covid. On the other hand social media was all stuffed with the false news and videos about the corona and memes related to Covid. How could a healthy person survive in such condition without having a mental breakdown? Again government implement lock down but only in education institutions, why?? Corona comes to Pakistan to get education? I strongly disagree with the closure of our schools, colleges and universities. Government should make it compulsory to follow SOP's throughout the institution but the ultimate closure is not the solution. The whole 2020 is a failure for our student community. We want to study but how? Through Online classes? No we don't get a single word through this online study system. I want all of you to think critically, follow the SOP's and try to build our nation otherwise we will fall apart.
